Zachariah Levi Leeb (26) was born November 19th, 1999, in Watertown, South Dakota to Carin Hanson and Chris Leeb. He was the youngest of his siblings. Zach will be remembered for his spirited personality and the ability to make friends with literally anyone. He never passed judgment on anyone and was the most generous and accepting person we knew.
He graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 2018 and later completed his welding certification through Alexandria Tech. He held many different jobs, from cooking, climbing towers, welding, and painting before finding his place at Bimbo Bakery in Fergus Falls.
Zach was an avid sports fan and loved supporting (and criticizing) every Minnesota sports team, especially the Wild and the Vikings. He had a passion for hockey and baseball and enjoyed competing in everything. He was extremely competitive whether it be sports, video games, or cribbage. Zach loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed his time in the woods and on the water with his family.
On June 14th, 2026, Zachariah Levi Leeb passed away as a result of a motorcycle accident in Fergus Falls, MN. He is preceded in death by his grandma and grandpa, Doretta and Peter Leeb and his first cousin once removed, Jethro Doberstein. He is survived by his mother, Carin Hanson (Dan Hanson), father, Chris Leeb, sister, Emily Douvier (Clayton Douvier), brother, Christian Leeb, brother from another mother, Tristian (TK) Knopf, his two nieces, Eddamir and Rosalyn Douvier, and his beloved cat John; along with a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, step siblings/nephews, and friends. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all. His spirit will live on through every life he touched by his endless generosity and love.
Services will be held on June 22nd at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria, MN, with visitation at 11:00 AM and a service starting at 1:00 PM, followed by a light lunch where sharing memories is encouraged.
