Velma Porter

Velma Porter, 94, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Saturday June 9, 2007, at Shady Oaks Retreat near Underwood. Survivors include her husband, Donald, of Fergus Falls; a son, Michael Murphy of Beaumont, California; several grandchildren; and a local sister-in-law, Leona Thompson, of Fergus Falls. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Knollwood Memorial Gardens in Fergus Falls with Reverend Robert Kelley of the Woodland Baptist Church officiating.
