Rebecca Pederson

Rebecca A. Pederson, 71, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, May 8, 2025 at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.

Rebecca Anne Panschow was born February 2, 1954 to Edward Panschow and Mary Jones in Minnesota. She was raised by her foster parents, Nicholas and Janice (Lindahl) Breuer. She attended Park Center High School in Brooklyn Park, MN, graduating in 1972.

She married Gale C. Pederson, who passed away February 11, 2018.

Rebecca was a homemaker and farmer. She was also a grandmother, providing care for Zachary and Stephanie while their parents were working. She loved gardening, baking, drawing, fishing, and swimming. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren when they were young. She also loved animals, especially dogs, cats, and the farm cows.

Preceding her in death were, her biological parents, Edward Panschow and Mary Jones; her parents, Nicholas and Janice Breuer; brothers, Dave Breuer, Mario Ramirez, and Duane Beaudreau.

Rebecca is survived by her significant other, Rodney Mrozek of Fergus Falls; her children, Melissa Strike of Minneapolis, Jo Nichols of LeSueur, and Penny (Mitchell) Bock of Salisbury, NC; grandchildren, Rebecca and Jacob Strike, Alyssa and Logan Nichols, Zachary Bock, Stephanie Martin, and Kyle Bock; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Bock, Rylee Bock, Isabella Bock, Aubree Bock and two more on the way, and her siblings, Kim (Mark) Duncanson, Diane (Mike Shubert) McClain, Denise Foose, Tom (Barb) Breuer, Doug (Andrea Tucker) Breuer, and Danny Breuer.

A memorial service will be at the AmericInn in their conference room, in Fergus Falls, MN Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
