Randy Mortenson

Randy Mortenson, 64, of Rothsay, died Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Randy Keith Mortenson was born May 3, 1962, in Fergus Falls, to Harold Mortenson and Joyce (Currier) Boese. He attended school in Pelican Rapids.

Randy was employed as a mechanic most of his life. He also drove truck in the oil fields in North Dakota.

He enjoyed fixing on things that did not work as long as it had a motor, deer hunting and spending time with his dogs and friends.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Harold Mortenson; mother, Joyce (Currier) Boese; step-father, Duane Boese and brother, Michael Mortenson.

Randy is survived by his sister, Vicki Klemek; brothers, Duane Mortenson, Lance (Kristine) Boese, and Cory Mortenson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Elizabeth Community Center, Elizabeth, MN.
