Patricia Hensch

Patricia Ann Hensch, 84, of Doran, died Saturday, October 17, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Patricia Ann Kenyon was born November 12, 1941 to Maurice Lyman and Thelma Ruth (Buss) Kenyon in Fergus Falls. She was baptized and confirmed at First United Church of Christ in Fergus Falls. She attended school in Fergus Fall, graduating from Fergus Falls High School in 1960. Patricia went on to attend Ritters School of Beauty, graduating in 1961.

On September 23, 1961, she married Edward Hensch at First United Church of Christ in Fergus Falls.

She worked at Archies, Fergus Surplus, Checkers Home and Lumber in sales. She also owned a ceramic shop, where she taught classes.

Patricia was a former member of Vukku Lutheran Church, serving on church council and as a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed trips to the casino with her family. Patricia also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading. She loved ceramics and had a shop in her home. She held all holiday celebrations at the farm. When weather permitted, she had Easter egg hunts.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Maurice and Thelma Kenyon; her great-grandson, Parker Kort; sister, Ruth Carlquist; brother, Keith Kenyon; brothers-in-law, Don Hensch and Allen Hensch, and sister-in-law, Lucille Sorenson-Freitag.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Edward Hensch of rural Doran; children, Blaine (Denise Kumm) Hensch of Elizabeth, Renee (Brad) Murdoff of Breckenridge, Gary (Lorna) Hensch of Pequot Lakes, Stefanie (Jeremey Kath) Hensch of Lidgerwood; grandchildren, Tanya (Dan) Kort, Justin Hensch, Alex (Courtney Kjeldgaard) Hensch, Morgan (Dustin) Andersen, Danielle (Jeff Edwards) Murdoff, Kali (Jon Quast) Murdoff, Alyssa (Justin) Aiken, Mason (Julie) Tell, Dalton (Lauren) Tell, Hayden Tell, Skylor (Erika) Hensch, and Maddison (Kasey Couture) Hensch; great-grandchildren, Easton, Brennan, and Becker Kort, Payton and M'aliyah Murdoff, Jayden and Stetson Aiken, Harlow Quast, Cade and Sutton Andersen, and Rylen Tell; siblings, Elaine Anderson and Wayne (Alyce) Kenyon all of North Branch; brother and sisters-in-law, Bunny Hensch and Byron (Tanya) Hensch, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2026 at Olson Funeral and Cremation in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service.

Interment: Western Emmanuel Cemetery, Western Township, MN
