Mary Hanson

Mary Beth Hanson, 67, formerly of Fergus Falls, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026.

Mary Beth Bruening was born February 5, 1959 to Herbert and Delores (Balfour) Bruening in Fergus Falls. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School. She married Rick Hanson in 1986 in Fergus Falls.

She enjoyed Diamond Painting and creating jewelry to sell at craft fairs.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Delores; father, Herbert Bruening; sister, Teresa Hoffman-Larson; brother, Steve Bruening; step-dad, Clarence Trosvig, and step-brother, Gary Trosvig.

Mary is survived by her children, Adam and Jacob; her grandchildren, Teresa, Daniel, and Olivia Hanson, and also her sister, Kathy Wark.

Celebration of Life Gathering: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Olson Funeral and Cremation in Fergus Falls.

Graveside: 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at St. Ottos Catholic Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN.
