Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend
Mary Elizabeth Nash was born on May 18th, 1955, to parents Richard and Mary (Lupkes) Nash in Breckenridge, MN. Mary was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Madison, MN. Mary lived a life marked by kindness, strength, and devotion to her husband and family.
Mary was married for 40 years to the love of her life, Bradley Grim. Together, they built a life in Fergus Falls, MN filled with love and shared adventures.
In life, Mary will be remembered for her generous spirit, warm heart, quiet grace, and unwavering patience. Through her work at the newspapers (Western Guard in Madison, MN and Daily News in Wahpeton, ND), in her photography studio (Summit Studios), as a writer, and as a devoted homemaker, as well as her years of volunteer service as a choir director and Sunday School teacher, Mary touched countless lives. Whether quilting, embroidering, antiquing, playing piano, reading, attending her class and family reunions, sitting in the passenger's seat on a long drive, or simply offering a kind word, she left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Mary passed away on May 29th, 2025, at the age of 70, and went to her Heavenly home.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Richard Nash II, her mother, Mary Lupkes Nash Mueller, her mother-in-law, Barbara Grim, and her father-in-law, John Grim.
Those left to celebrate Mary's life are her beloved husband, Bradley Grim; her daughters, Elizabeth Armour (Chris) and Anna Bitschenauer; her cherished grandchildren, Emma Bjerklie (Travis Dockham), Lilli Bitschenauer, Evalyn Bitschenauer, Everett Bitschenauer, and Nash Armour; her siblings, Rita Lund (Donald), Margaret Tennessen (Jon), and Richard Nash; her brother-in-law's, Mark Grim (Carol Robinson), Robert Grim (Sheila), William Grim, and Dwayne Lang; her sister-in-law's, Julie Schmeiding (Kenny), and Nancy Lang; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial's preferred to Fergus Falls Habitat-for-Humanity or donor's choice.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 5th, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM. Dinner will be provided, and all are welcome to celebrate Mary's life.
