Kenneth Lund

Kenneth "Ken" Harold Lund, age 76, passed away July 29, 2026 at the MN Veteran's Home in Fergus Falls where he had resided since 2019.

Ken was the son of Leonard and Velma (Mikkelson) Lund. He now joins them in eternal rest along with baby brother, Arvid and baby niece, Sheri.

His early years were spent in Oregon and then on the family farm in Amor Township. After graduation from Perham High School in 1968, he furthered his education at Wadena Technical College equipping himself with skills that would serve him well throughout his life.

In 1970 Ken joined the United States Navy where he served for four years. He married Deb Seiple in 1977 and they later divorced. They had two children, Joshua and Kendra and seven grandchildren.

Ken enjoyed time with family and friends, often with a joke and ready to ensure there was always laughter.

He is survived by his children; grandchildren; three brothers, Roger (Claudia), Daryl (Brenda) and Allen (Bella); two sisters, Loris Horrell and Deanna Mathias; and many nieces and nephews.

Special Thanks to all the staff at the Veteran's Home for the wonderful care and good life they provided for Ken. And also, to hospice, for being so kind in visiting him.

Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and remember Ken.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Olson Funeral and Cremation in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service.
