Judy Neu, 77, of Fergus Falls, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026 at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls. She is now sheltered in the arms of God. Judy loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Judy Marlene Neu was born January 25, 1949 to Clinton and Clareen (Ott) Neu. Judy was baptized and confirmed at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dent. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Richville. She grew up in Star Lake Township, attended grade school in a little country school, and graduated from Perham High School in 1967.
Judy was employed for a few years as a car hop and soda jerk at Dairyland in Fergus Falls and as a manager for a few years at Fashion City. From there her career lasted approximately 30 plus years at Victor Lundeen Co, where she was treated very well. Judy was a proud conservative republican, prolife, and supported her cause monetarily. She also supported the Jews for Jesus organization. Judy enjoyed volunteering at the Fergus Falls Salvation Army. After her retirement, her dream came true when her little cabin in the woods built. Due to Parkinson's, Judy had to move into an apartment in Fergus Falls, then to Mill Street and PioneerCare. Now she has a mansion in heaven.
She was very talented and artistic, Judy enjoyed writing poetry and children's books. She also illustrated her works, but she never had them published. She loved to crochet and made many purses that she sold at the Phelps Mill Festival. She also enjoyed music and loved to sing.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clinton and Clareen Neu; her grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Judy is survived by her sisters, Karen (Gary) Benke and Kathy (Charles) Brasel; niece, Alis Beckman; nephews, Ken (Lisa) Benke and Jeff Benke; great-nieces, Kimberly, Katie, Kayla, Kelsie, and Skyler Benke, Lily and Ella Reinhardt, and Aubrie Beckman, and 11 great-great-nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Mill Street, PioneerCare, and Vivie Hospice.
