Jerry Burris

Jerry Burris, age 85, of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025 under the loving care of PioneerCare Center and Vivie Hospice.

Jerry was born on May 14, 1940 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Woodrow Burris and Frances Christensen. In 1972 Jerry made his home in Fergus Falls, MN.

Jerry was employed for many years at Productive Alternatives in Fergus Falls, where he took great pride in his work and the friendships he formed. He was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. Jerry was an avid bowler, and proud of the many tournaments he won. He loved to travel and enjoyed many memorable trips over the years. It was always a good day for Jerry when he could make a quick trip to the casino. In his free time, Jerry could be found gardening, caring for his pets, and worshiping at Calvary Free Lutheran Church.

Jerry is survived by his special friend, Sharon, as well as the numerous friends and caregivers who faithfully supported him throughout his life.  He was a wonderful friend and loving person who will be missed by many.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at PioneerCare Center in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service.

Clergy: Pastor Eric Rasmussen

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Fergus Falls.
