Jennifer Saurer

Jennifer Louise Saurer, 56, of San Diego, died recently at her home.

She was born on Aug. 9, 1968 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of John Lloyd Saurer and Georgia June Anderson (Benhardus). She graduated from Minneapolis South High School and received her associate's degree from Normandale Community College. She served as an administrative assistant in Bloomington, MN before moving to San Diego in 1992. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years, including as a legal secretary for 12 years at Sullivan Hill in San Diego.

She had a passion for animals, and was a cat mom to her two cats, Tippytoes and Johnnypapa. She had an infectious laugh and a generous soul, always willing to help the less fortunate.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother, her brothers, Mark (Magda) Saurer, of Fergus Falls, and Matt (Angela) Saurer of Fergus Falls, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
