Jane Marie Levsen

Jane Marie Levsen, age 56, of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2026, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls, where she had resided for several years. She received compassionate hospice care at the end of her life. Jane was born on February 3, 1970, and lived a life marked by warmth, dedication, creativity, and love for those around her.

After graduating from High School Jane furthered her education at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota, where she played in the university band just as she had throughout her high school years. Music was a constant and meaningful thread woven through her life and the life of her family.

During her high school years, Jane was also involved in Young Life and her youth church group at Grace United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader who was rarely found without a book in hand. Jane also excelled and loved doing handwork.

Jane had a deep love for gatherings, especially during the holidays. She delighted in handing out gifts to each person with great enthusiasm, making every celebration feel joyful and personal. Her presence at any occasion brought energy and warmth that everyone around her could feel.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Jane spent many years employed at Walmart and Home Depot. It was a common sight to see Jane walking across town to reach her workplace - a quiet but telling testament to her determination and her commitment to everything she set her mind to.

Jane is survived by her father, Arnie; her brother, Phil; her uncle, Don Levsen; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joy.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Grace United Methodist Church in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service.

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN.
