Jack Conrad Lacey, 83, of Fergus Falls, MN, entered the arms of his Savior on September 19, 2025.
Born November 13, 1941, in Elbow Lake, MN to Clarence and Ruth Lacey. Jack graduated from Elbow Lake High School in 1959 and soon after answered the call to serve his country through the US Army Reserve.
On September 28, 1963, Jack married his beloved wife, Sharon Skrove, in Dalton, MN. Together, they shared over six decades of marriage, raising a family and building a home filled with faith and love.
Jack dedicated his life to farming northwest of Wendell, MN, later working alongside his son Andy. Jack poured his heart into his work, always giving God the credit. Known for his easy manner and quick smile, Jack could strike up a conversation with anyone, never knowing a stranger.
Jack lived generously, giving of his time and talents as a lifelong member of Lawrence Presbyterian Church and serving on numerous ag related and community boards and committees. For more than 20 years, he served with the Gideons jail ministry, faithfully sharing the hope of the Gospel with those in need. He and Sharon also enjoyed volunteering for several years at Medora.
Jack enjoyed traveling with Sharon, taking trips around the world and many to their favorite destination, Branson, MO. Later in life, the couple wintered in Mesa, AZ.
Above all, Jack was most proud of his family and loved when everyone could be together. His face lit up when he spoke of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His words, filled with encouragement and grounded in faith, will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his parents, Clarence and Ruth Lacey; brothers Gerald and Dan; sister Dixie Johnson; and great-grandchild Stella Walvatne.
