Greg Honrud, 56 of Rothsay, died Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Essentia Health in Fargo.

Greg Duane Honrud was born July 3, 1969 to DuWayne and Beverly (Thom) Honrud in Fergus Falls. He attended Rothsay High School and earned his AA Degree at NDSCS.

He worked at Thiele Technology Inc., now known as Barry - Wehmiller since 2004.

Greg decided to marry Darcie Collins later in life in Rothsay, MN.

He was a member of New Life Lutheran Church in Rothsay. Greg enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, playing in the band, spending time with his grandchildren, and traveling with his wife on the motorcycle.

Preceding him in death were his father, DuWayne Honrud and mother-in-law, Carol Collins.

Greg is survived by his wife, Darcie Honrud of Rothsay; his children, Melissa, Jenny, Gary, Casey, Davey, Dylan, and Jacob; grandchildren, Bree, Hudson, and Willow; his mother, Beverly Honrud; brother, Brian (Lutia) Honrud, and his niece and nephew, Megan and Matt.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025 at New Life Lutheran Church in Rothsay, with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the church.

Clergy: Reverend David Strom and Reverend Randy Whitehead

Interment: Hamar Cemetery, Rothsay, MN at a later date
