Don Nelson
September 21, 1943 — February 29, 2024
Don Nelson passed away February 29, 2024 at the age of 80. He was born September 21, 1943 to Curtis and Elaine Nelson in Fergus Falls. He graduated with the class of 1962. He served in the US Navy from 1963 to 1967 as a dental technician in Saigon and on the USS Kearsarge based out of Long Beach, California. He owned the Fergus Falls Dental Laboratory.
He loved sailing on his boat when he lived in California and was an avid hunter and fisherman after moving back to Fergus Falls.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie, whom he married in 1969 and a nephew, two nieces, and their children and grandchildren.
There will be no funeral services.
