Tina Marie Stewart, 55, of Dalton, died Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Sanford on Broadway, in Fargo, ND.
She was born March, 7, 1964, in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Victor and Patricia Ann (Ross) Alvira. She attended elementary school in California and obtained her GED in Minnesota. She later attended cosmetology school.
On June 21, 1980, she married Scott Stewart in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout the years, Tina was employed as a waitress/bartender at Melby Outpost in Melby, for several years; a waitress at Big Chief Café in rural Fergus Falls, for four years; a telemarketer and telemarketer trainer; sewed for Shoremaster in Fergus Falls; a cosmetologist at Adelle’s Place in Dalton; and worked at Burger King in Fergus Falls.
Tina enjoyed sewing, pool league, casino games on her computer, singing karaoke, riding motorcycle, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She loved her family, had a huge heart and will be missed by many.
Preceding her in death were her mom, Patricia Ross; aunt, Terry Shofner; mother-in-law, Gwendolyn Johnson, and father-in-law, Joe Stewart.
Survivors include her children, Josh (Jessica Anderson) Stewart of Ashby and Patricia Stewart of Underwood; grandchildren, Dillon Stewart, Thomas Stewart and Alexys Elliott; her father, Victor Alvira of Puerto Rico; siblings, Michell Stewart-Cruz of Denver, CO, Kimberly Stewart of Wichita, KS, Joe Stewart of Cedaredge, CO, Daniel Alvira of California and David Alvira of California; the children’s father, Scott Stewart; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private family service will be held.
