Sheralyn Emery

Sheralyn Alice Emery, 57, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Sanford Health in Fargo.

She was born to Emery and Elizabeth (Ecker) Wiese on June 29, 1962 in Fergus Falls.

She was baptized in Fergus Falls and confirmed at Augustana Lutheran Church in Elizabeth. On May 26, 1979 she married Rick Emery at Augustana Lutheran Church in Elizabeth.

Sheralyn loved crocheting, softball, gardening, bowling, arm wrestling, meeting new people, music and dancing, sitting by the water and listening to the loons, having her Grandma Daycare, sewing, turtle and fish fry’s, and wrenching. She was a member of the Handyman Club of America.

Over the years, she was employed by West Central Turkeys in Pelican Rapids, the Senior Citizen Center in Pelican Rapids, Fergus Falls Medical Group, Minn-Dak in Wahpeton, and cleaning for Pat n’ Kenny.

Preceding her in death is her father, Emery Wiese; sister, Roxanne Meland; brothers, Allen Wiese at infancy, Gordon Wiese, and Anthony Wiese; a son, Lawrence Emery at infancy, and a granddaughter, Amy Gladue at infancy.

Sheralyn is survived by her special friend, Hans Quiram; children, Sarah (Travis) Gladue of Erhard, Jody (Bob) Borchers of Elizabeth, Michelle Emery of Underwood, Jennifer (Steve) Emery-Smith of Erhard, and April Emery of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Gina, Paige, Drew, Sophie, Dacia, Aubry, Claire, Jaxon, and Rowan; siblings, Bradley (Janelle) Wiese of Wahpeton; mother, Elizabeth (Duke Braaten) Wiese of Elizabeth, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
