Patricia Jayne "Pat" Formo

Patricia Jayne “Pat” Formo, age 82, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, at her home, under the care of Lakeland Hospice.

Pat was born on March 16, 1934, to Russell and Esther (Swanton) Leitch in Underwood. She grew up in the Underwood area and graduated from Underwood High School.

On July 18, 1952, Pat married Gene Currier at Rindal Lutheran Church in Underwood. They were married for thirty years and together raised four daughters. On February 3, 1990, Pat married Andy Formo in Las Vegas, NV, and they have enjoyed the last twenty-six years together.

Over the years, Pat was employed at the Montgomery Ward Department Store and the Daily Journal. She had a hobby farm and loved her piggys! Pat also enjoyed her casino trips, her soap opera, “The Days of Our Lives”, the time she lived on Swan Lake, and meals at the Viking Café with her friends.

Family was always very important to Pat. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, and the Eagles Club Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Esther Leitch; her husband, Gene Currier; a daughter, Theresa Marshall; a brother, Eugene Leitch; a sister-in-law, Minerva Leitch; her mother and father-in-law, Clarence and Leola Currier; a son-in-law, Brad Muchow; a step-grandaughter, Stacey Korby; and sisters and brothers-in-law, David Formo, Milton Formo, Kenny (Leona) Formo, Richard (Sally) Formo and Myrt (Jim) Livdahl.

Pat is survived by her husband, Andy Formo of Fergus Falls; her children, Jeanie (Gary) Hutchins, Sharon Currier, Tracy (Russ) Muchow, all of Fergus Falls; her step-children, Kathy (Tom) Hagaman of Shakopee, Diane (Tim) Arnold of Clear Lake, Larry Formo of Big Piney, WY, and Nancy Korby of Fergus Falls; her grandchildren, Trevor (Becky) Muchow, Tyler Muchow, Kristi Thunselle, Brian (Jody) Hutchins, Wayne (Toni) Hutchins, Brandy Bouchard, Shari Mostue, Justin Marshall, Heather Marshall, Jessica (Philip) Jennen and Ryan (Kali) Muchow; her step-grandchildren, Travis (Amanda) Hagaman, Kyle Hagaman, Garrett Formo, Michael Korby and Ashley Korby; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her brother, Dennis Leitch of Park Rapids; her in-laws, Eunie Formo, Janette Williams, Sally (Joe) Christianson, Joyce (Duane) Boese and Darlys Emerson; and she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pat’s family would like to send a very special thank you to Lakeland Hospice and to Dr. Money.
Memorials are preferred to Lakeland Hospice.

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, May 30, 2016, at the Olson Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Service: 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
