Linda Josephine Wendt, 64, died July 11, 2016, at her home in Ottertail.
Linda was born March 9, 1952, to Walter and Marjorie (Barth) Hohn in Mora. Linda graduated from Washington High School in St. Paul in 1968. She attended Sister Rosalind Gefre School of Massage in 1989. She received her Associates Degree in Medical Transcription from Minnesota State Community Technical College in 2010.
On August 12, 1972 she married Steven Wendt at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Linda worked at the Elders Home in New York Mills as a CNA, and at the Ottertail Lions Club as a Pull Tab Booth Operator for charitable gambling. She also cleaned houses for a living. Linda was a member of the Lions Club of Ottertail. She enjoyed music, baking, painting, singing, theater and writing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her significant other, Darrel Dean Dunblazier.
She is survived by her children: Justin (Kalynn) Wendt, Joshua Wendt, Erin (Ryan) Stoffel, Stephanie (Fiancé Paul Hyothia) Wendt, Jacob Wendt and Sean (Charly) Dunblazier and grandchildren: Sonora, Colten, Novalee, Hollis, Ophelia, Madison, William, Eli, Abigail, Ellie, Paisley, Jade and Isabela; former husband Steven Wendt.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the United Methodist Church, 130 - 1st Avenue SW, Richville, MN.
