Linda Lou Lickness

Linda Lou Lickness, 69, died October 5, 2016, at the Broen Home in Fergus Falls.

Linda Berg was born June 21, 1947, in Veblen, SD, to Christian and Irene (Hedstrom) Berg. She attended the New Effington school district and went on to graduate as an LPN from North Dakota State School of Science in 1983.

Linda married Rolland Lickness on December 22, 1984, in Sisseton, SD.

She worked as a nurse at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls. The last 22 years of her career were spent at the Region Treatment Center / State Hospital on several units. She retired in 2005.

Linda was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church and the Lady Elks. Linda enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, all crafting, and bird watching from her deck at home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Elwood; a step-son, David Lickness; and a brother-in-law, Alf Overby.

She is survived by her husband, Rolland, of Fergus Falls; children: Sheri Anonen of Brookings, SD; Kimberly Mudderman of Strum, WI; Holly Stave of Plymouth; a step-son, Mark Lickness; grandchildren: Chris (Lori) Anonen, Mandi (Corey) Dandurand, Hunter Stave, Kendra Rust, Mariah Burau, Abby Wool, Emily Stave; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Marian Overby of Big Lake, WA, and Connie (Allen) Rettig of Forest Lake, MN; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: One hour prior to service at the Olson Funeral Home
Service: Monday, October 10, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls
Clergy: Reverend Ben Durbin
Interment: Private family interment at a later date
