Jordan Tommerdahl

December 9, 1992 — November 27, 2019

Jordan Matthew Tommerdahl, 26, of Minneapolis, formerly from Fergus Falls, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

On December 9, 1992, Jordan was born to Kay and Stuart Tommerdahl in Fargo, ND. In 1993, he moved with his family to Fergus Falls, MN.

Jordan was baptized at Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND and confirmed at Stavanger Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, MN. He loved and was actively involved in Otter Tail Young Life during his high school years.

Jordan attended Fergus Falls High School, graduating in 2011, and attended Colorado Christian University, graduating in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

On June 14, 2014, Jordan married Madison Eshelman.

Jordan worked as a Sourcing Specialist for Graco Corporation in Minneapolis, MN beginning in 2015, and most recently at AeroSystems Engineering in St. Paul, MN.

Jordan had a passion for making a difference in other people’s lives. Jordan loved people and could open a conversation with anybody, young or old. Jordan loved travel and exploring the world. He loved sports, participating in Soccer, Basketball and Tennis in high school. Over the last year, Jordan was a member of the MN Timberwolves performance dunk team. Jordan loved nature and being outdoors, whether it be camping, hiking, fishing, or hunting. Jordan was part of an incredible group of friends (more like brothers) who called themselves the Island Guys.

Despite his recent struggles with mental health, Jordan had a heart of gold and always wanted to help others. He was the best listener and conversationalist and was there for everyone no matter what the situation. He had aspirations of pursuing a career in mental health in order to more effectively help others with their own struggles.
