John C. Moen, 64, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Friday, April 5, 2019, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.
John Carl Moen was born on December 30, 1954, to Ernest and Dorothy (Mark) Moen in Fergus Falls.
John attended school in Fergus Falls. He worked at the Beet Plant in Wahpeton, ND, after which he became self employed as a painter and drywall contractor. He enjoyed motorcycling and had a love for wild life. He especially liked cats, one in particular, Sophie. John always enjoyed spending time with this his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest; son, Trevor; grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy of Fergus Falls; granddaughter, Shania Moen; siblings, Ernie (Debbie) of Cambridge, Diane (Donald) Schreiber of Fergus Falls and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2019, at the Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls
Interment: Maplewood Lutheran Church Cemetery
