Jeffery Martin Whipps, 57, a resident of Dalton, died Friday, December 8, 2017, at his home.
Jeffery was born on February 26, 1960, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Ellsworth and Birdie (Blikstad) Whipps.
He attended Underwood High School until the age of 16 years. Jeff then helped the family out with the bait business until his time of death.
Jeff’s hobbies were hunting, fishing, telling a good joke, and visiting with friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ellsworth and Birdie Whipps.
Survivors include his brother, Gary (Rebecca) Whipps of Fergus Falls; nephews, Curtiss Smith of Dalton, Gary Jr. and Santa Whipps of Earth, TX; great-nieces and nephews, Cody Smith, Josh Whipps, Harley Whipps, Odette Whipps, Bethany Whipps, and Roman Moreno; great-great-niece and nephew, Shylo Smith and Jackson Whipps.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the Dalton Community Center, Dalton, MN
Service: 2 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017, Dalton Community Center, Dalton, MN
Clergy: Reverend Roger Lange
Interment: Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Fergus Falls
