Eleanor Mary Pilarski

Eleanor Mary Pilarski, age 92, a resident of Clitherall, MN, entered eternal life on March 10, 2018.
Eleanor was born December 6, 1925, in Krain Township, Stearns County, Minnesota, to Louis H. and Anna C. (Wolbeck) Douvier. She married Daniel Pilarski on July 11, 1955, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Holdingford, MN.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Eleanor was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Battle Lake. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, hunting, teaching catechism and playing cards. She loved spending time with family, and especially enjoyed teasing her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Pilarski; son and daughters, Wayne Pilarski of Clitherall, MN, Lisa (David) Tollefson of Elk River, MN, Michelle (Todd) Anderson of Zimmerman, MN; sister, Rose Kapsner of Holdingford, MN; and six grandchildren, Christopher, Bruce, Kenneth, Zackary, Sierra, and Cody.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Anna; five brothers, Frank, Edmund, Clemens, Herbert and Roman Douvier; and three sisters, Frances Lange, Hildegard Waldorf, and Louise Euteneuer.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Minnesota Veterans Home - Fergus Falls for the loving care and compassion that they provided to Eleanor.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 10:30 AM at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Fergus Falls, MN.
