Donnis Lavay Fick

Donnis L. Fick, 76, of Maple Grove, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the Maple Grove Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1940, on a farm in rural Battle Lake, Minnesota, the daughter of Joe and Josie (Hultberg) Lindberg. She graduated from Battle Lake High School in 1958.
On February 7, 1959 she married Donald Fick in Fergus Falls. The couple had 4 children.
Donnis worked at First National /Community First Bank in Fergus Falls for over 25 years. She enjoyed seeing members of the community there and they all loved her.
Some of Donnis' favorite things to do were spending time with family and friends, crossword puzzles, knitting and going to the casino. She also enjoyed puzzles, solitaire and going for walks.
Donnis touched many hearts with her kind and loving personality. She always put the needs of others above her own.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Joe and Josie Lindberg; sisters, Arlene Swanson and Joan Muchko; brothers, Neil and Sonny Lindberg and brother-in-law, Dean Bolton.
She is survived by her children, Randy Fick of Maple Grove, Robin Beebe of Maple Grove, Renee (Jerry) Grams of North Mankato, and Rhonda (Joe) Cory of Duluth; 8 grandchildren, Nick (Rachel) Cappola, Cole (Becky) deCathelineau, Joel (Jenny) Beebe, Derek Grams, Jesse Fick, Jacob Fick, Stefanie Grams, Jenna Beebe; and 3 great grandchildren, Brayden, Olivia and Aubrey Cappola; sisters, Milly (Sheldon) Tyberg and Carol Bolton, brother, Chester Lindberg, and brother-in-law Warren Swanson, and several nieces and nephews.
