Delphine A. Spranger, 90, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Delphine was born on April 27, 1928, to Joseph and Mary (Warzecha) Opatz in Holding Township. Delphine worked for Star Laundry and Frees Cleaners as presser from 1950 till her retirement in 1995.

On July 7, 1951, Delphine was united in marriage to Clarence “Bud” Cichy. They made their home in Fergus Falls and in 1965 built their dream home on Hoot Lake. They enjoyed long drives in Don’s 1967 Mustang convertible along with cooking and entertaining family and friends at the lake. Don passed away in 2007.

Delphine was a member of the VFW and Our Lady of Victory Church where she helped with the Fish Fries during lent. Delphine enjoyed taking casino trips, playing bingo, doing Diane’s prep-work for meals and helping Diane take care of her “little ladies”.
