David R. Wahl, 75, of Fergus Falls passed away, Monday, March 4, 2019, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
David was born on December 25, 1943 in Fergus Falls, the son of Herman and Mary (Boeder) Wahl. He grew up in Fergus Falls and attended District #203 country school and graduated from Fergus Falls High School. He married Elaine Erickson and the couple had three children. David owned a transportation business and worked as a truck driver.
He was a member of the Fergus Falls Eagle’s Club, enjoyed watching NASCAR and was also a collector of tractors.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his life partner, Mary Ellen Solley of Fergus Falls; children, Julie (Scott) Langston of Foxhome, MN, Roger (Adriana)Wahl of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Heidi (Brian) Job of Moorhead, MN; grandchildren, Amber (Zach) Iverson, Michelle (Teddy) Thorsgaard, Adam Wahl, Emma Wahl, Arianna Wahl, Sammy Job, Nick Job; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Hayden and Mason; siblings, Arlen (Ardy) Wahl, Margaret Gutzmer and Carol (Bill) Taylor. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
