Charles Henry Meyer

Charles Henry Meyer, 73, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday November 12, 2019, at LB Broen Home in Fergus Falls.

Charles was born May 7, 1946, to Fritz and Harriet (Jensen) Meyer in Fergus Falls. He attended District 214 school in Dane Prairie Township and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1964.

He was a farmer, a cook at the Elks, also worked at Fossen Oil, Mark Sand and Gravel, and Arvid Swedberg. Charles was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. He enjoyed observing wildlife, 4-wheeler fun, cutting wood, and telling stories.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fritz Meyer.

Charles is survived by his mother, Harriet Meyer; brothers, Paul Meyer and Luther (Sonia) Meyer; niece, Laura (James Gould) Meyer, and nephew, Andrew Meyer.

Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Stained-Glass Window Project, or organization of donor’s choice.

Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Olson Funeral Home Chapel in Fergus Falls.
