Timothy J. Gardin, 51, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Friday, September 26, 2014 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
He was born March 16, 1963 to Danley and Barbara (Tyrpa) Gardin in Minneapolis. He attended Fergus Falls High School, graduating in 1981.
Timothy entered the United States Army in 1981 and served until 1983. He was employed as an electrician locally for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, cars, NASCAR, and watching The Andy Griffith Show. Above all things, Timothy loved spending time with his children, granddaughter and was especially excited to meet soon-to-be born grandson.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Annette; grandparents, Henry and Audrey Tyrpa, Emily Boyd; step-father, Richard Hines.
Timothy is survived by his five children, Tyler Gardin of California, Shanda (Levi) Dudden of West Fargo, ND, Dustin Gardin of Moorhead, Taylor Gardin of Underwood, Nikolas Gardin of Underwood; granddaughter, Julianna Mauch; soon-to-be-born grandson, Riley Dudden; mother, Barbara Hines of Florida; brother, Steven Gardin of Florida; aunt, Bonnie Graeber; uncles, Jim Graeber and Jim Gardin; nephew, Sam Gardin; niece, Kate Gardin; Godmother, Marlys Robinson; former wives, Theresa Buhl and Stacy Stanley; cousins, Jodi Graeber and Ben Graeber.
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls
