Nora L. Kugler

Nora L. Kugler, 82, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at the Broen Memorial Home, Fergus Falls surrounded by her family. She was born June 11, 1931, in rural Fergus Falls, Otter Tail County, the daughter of Math and Gina (Lyngstad) Mostue. She attended Edwards rural school along with other rural schools in the area. She was baptized and confirmed at Tonseth Lutheran Church, rural Erhard. On February 26, 1955, she married Harry Kugler, in Webster, SD. They purchased a farm in Friberg Township and farmed for many years until Harry’s retirement. Nora was employed for seven years at Runningens Café and the Viking Café for 15 years, both in Fergus Falls as well as being a homemaker. Nora will be remembered as a hardworking, loving, caring, giving person, remembering everyone with gifts at Christmas and birthdays. She will also be remembered for her great memory and making the best pickles ever. She was an excellent cook and did a lot of baking, chocolate chip cookies, doughnuts and bread, with six boys...
