Michael Cadreau

Michael John Cadreau, 59, a resident of Martinez, CA, died Friday, May 15, 2015.

Michael was born on February 1, 1956 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of William and Betty (Hoffke) Cadreau. He grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. After high school he worked construction in Fargo for two years and then began working for Horvick Electric in Moorhead in Sales and Service. He then moved to California, working for DuPont Industries and General Motors and most recently for the city of Marin retiring in 2014.

In September of 1982 he married Patti Tucker in Dickinson, ND.

He loved to bowl, golf, play basketball and football, was a computer coach at nursing homes for the residents, coached soccer and he also enjoyed the 49ers, NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren. Mike was a loving, kind, supportive husband, father, Pa and best friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister-in-law, Janelle and a niece Kayla.

Survivors include his wife Patti; four children, James (Dawn) Tierney of Colorado Springs, CO, Shannon (Joshua) Patin of Mountain House, CA, Robert (Kelly) Frazer of Ada MI, and Leslie Cadreau of Billings, MT; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Bob (Pat) Cadreau of Park Rapids, MN, Vincent Cadreau of Grand Forks, MN, Rick (Barb) Cadreau of Thompson, ND, Deborah (Jay) Lunski of Ardoch, ND and Diane (Randy) Bagley of Grand Forks, ND; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Olson Funeral Home Chapel, Fergus Falls
