Loraine Ehrich, 91, of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, October 18, 2014, at PioneerCare, Fergus Falls.
She was born November 23, 1922, in Moorhead and adopted by Thomas and Louise (Langness) Enockson.
Loraine grew up in Bricelyn, graduating from Bricelyn High School in 1943.
On October 1, 1943, she married Arlan Ehrich in Blue Earth City. They lived and farmed in the Bricelyn and Brush Creek, MN area and later moved to rural Olivia, MN where they continued to farm for a few years. They later moved to Fergus Falls where they purchased the Greyhound Bus Depot and Café and operated them for three years. They then moved to Elizabeth, where they purchased a farm, which became a hobby farm, producing and selling produce. Loraine also worked at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls. After retirement they moved back to Blue Earth, MN where she worked at St. Lukes Nursing Home. After Arlan’s death, she moved to Dalton and later to the Golden Manor in Fergus Falls and spent the last month at the PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.
She loved to sew, do puzzles and was a jokester and prankster. She dearly loved her children, grandkids and great-grandkids. She enjoyed meeting people and made friends easily. She will be sadly missed and remembered by all.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arlan; sons, Ricky and Lon; granddaughter, Summer; and a grandson, Tom “Ace”.
Survivors include her children, John (Cheryl) Ehrich of Fergus Falls, Barbara (Bruce) Larson of Wendell, Patricia (Marvin) Hernwall of Garfield, Trudence Miller of Alexandria, Nancy (Gordon) Dart of North Carolina, Dixie (Richard) Hoeper of Dalton, Thomas (Nancy) Ehrich of Elizabeth and Marce Ehrich of Dalton; 25 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the PioneerCare Chapel, Fergus Falls
