Linda Kaye Randklev

July 25, 1948 — June 29, 2018

Linda Kaye Randklev, 69, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Friday, June 29, 2018.

She was born on July 25, 1948, in Pelican Rapids, MN, to Orville and Hazel (Engelson) Randklev of Fergus Falls, MN.

She worked at Norbys Dept, New Way Café, and Highway Host in her early years. She moved to Tucson, Arizona and attended college. Linda then began her career of Computer Programming, working for Coca Cola and Golden Eagle/Anheuser Busch. When her first grandchild called her back to the north, she began work in the caregiving field at St. Gerards Nursing Home (Hankinson), Richland County Home Health, New Dimensions Home Health, and Private Home care in Fergus Falls.

Her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandchildren. Their favorite memory is of her singing Patsy Cline songs while dancing with them. She loved to sew and taught her grandchildren to sew also. She always appreciated a casino run, and when the nickel slots would pay. What she is most remembered by her family is her ability to cook great meals for large groups even though they were small.

Family members waiting for her at the gates are her parents, Orville and Hazel (Engelson) Randklev; brother, Owen Randklev; sisters, Cindy Fonken and Suzie O’Meara.

Linda enjoyed telling tales of her life, and her siblings, spending time with and go on outings with her family: Gary (Kathy) Randklev of Barnesville, MN, Dick (Judy) Randklev of Minot ND, Tim (Mary) Randklev of Chaska, MN, Tom (Alene) Randklev of Tucson, Arizona.
Linda also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and adventures with her daughters, Lesa (Myron) Wilm of Hankinson ND, and Hillary Weinrich of Taylor, ND.

She felt the biggest accomplishments, joys and happiness in her life was her grandchildren and family. She has now become their guardian angel to Danny (Jenna) Wilm, Wyatt Wilm, Bailie Trittin, Ashley Trittin, Madison Trittin, Olivia Trittin, and many nieces and nephews.

Per the wishes of Linda there will not be a formal service.
