Ione Nelson

Ione Delores Nelson, 77, a resident of Fergus Falls, passed away July 30, 2014, at PioneerCare, Fergus Falls.

Ione was born on December 30, 1937, in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, the daughter of Bennie and Dorothy (Johnson) Arneson. She attended school in Fergus Falls, graduating from Fergus Falls High School in 1954.

On December 8, 1956, she married Arthur K. Nelson. She was a meat wrapper at National T Grocery in Fergus Falls.

She is survived by two brothers, DuWayne (Billie) Arneson of Tucson, Arizona and Everett (Geri) Arneson of Bothell, Washington, and one sister, Betty Magee, of Bothell Washington.

Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; an infant brother, and a brother, Juel R. Arneson on July 11, 2014.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Ione’s name to the PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.
