Evan Louis Dalluge

Evan L. Dalluge, 70, of Moorhead, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Evan was born on August 17, 1946, in Fergus Falls, MN, To Caroll and Mary Lou (Simon) Dalluge. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and graduated in Pelican Rapids. After graduation, he furthered his education where he received an RN degree and worked in the profession until he retired.

Evan enjoyed spending time with his family, nieces and nephews, as well as their Godchildren. He often spoke fondly of the daycare children. He missed the good times they had together. He loved his puppies who became like their own children.

Evan was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lou and Caroll Dalluge; a brother, Paul; his mother and father-in-law, Delores and Clarence Knutson, Jr.; a brother-in-law, Duane Knutson; and a Godson, Joshua.

Evan is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diana "Dee" Dalluge of Moorhead; his sisters, Carol Ann (Helbis) Dalluge of Wheat Ridge, CO, Debbie (Jim) Hoard of Detroit Lakes, Melanie (Jim) Hoffmann of Vergas, Becky (Steve) Carriera of Raleigh, NC, and Rachael (Roger) Svendsgaard of Fergus Falls; his sisters-in-law, Bernice Dalluge of Millerville, Marilyn Knutson of Moorhead and Patty Johnson of Twin Valley; a brother-in-law, David Knutson and a sister-in-law, Cindi Knutson of Moorhead; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and Godchildren.
